"Sight"




I once asked the lord,
Give me the sight that I warrant.
Send me this vision,
That is mine inherent.

My wish to see all,
That is around me,
Has in turn blinded me.

I see now that the only sight,
The only truest of sights,
Is that from the soul.

The soul sees and reflects,
The events that transpires,
Around the viewer.
Be it that of pain,
Or be it that of the greatest of happiness.

I see now,
That I need no eyes to see.
'Fore you dear lord,
Have given me a soul.
And with that, I can see infinity.
