Anti-gravity device fails
Nitrogen generator fails
I must go outside
And either adjust to oxygen
Or die
I slow my heart rate
And mentally prepare
For when that dented door slowly opens
It creaks and whines as it shows me
By increments
A new world
Like my drowning dreams
I can inexplicably breathe
A foreign substance
It makes my brain move in a strange way
But not alarming
Or crippling
Just different
Accepting my new home
