| I've been advising my daughter to read certain books over the last few months, some of which I read when I was her age or a little older, books I KNOW she would love, the problem is that so many of these books now have movies made after them, and she leans in that direction. No matter how hard I try to convince her they details are so much better in books, and even though it sounds weird, the visualizations are far better, simply because it's coming from your own imagination...she'd prefer to watch the hour and a half long movie, and not gather nearly as much from it. So I'm curious...what do you think? |
