I'll break it down the best I can.
My brother has been married for 1 yr and 3 months. He married this girl because he loved her (she was pregnant, probably both, but the pregnancy ignited the whole thing. We'd had a falling out not long before she found out she was pregnant (my brother and I, that is) because I'd confronted him about some issues I had with her, and the fact that I was hearing that he shouldn't trust her.
In other words, I knew for a fact she was cheating on him with one of his best friends, as did just about everyone else he knew. Unfortunately he never let me get to the point of my confrontation before all hell broke loose and we pretty much didn't speak for about a year or more.
So... now that she's divorcing him... after making sure they do have some shared property, and what-not... and they have a son that my brother is absolutely heartbroken over... is there a point @ which I should tell him he should possibly get a paternity test? Or.. should I just drop it for good and let it eat away at me from time to time without really knowing for him.. or us if he was completely screwed over intentionally?
For the record, since the falling out... we've become civil again, and I made nice with his wife (only assuming she's the mother of my nephew), yanno.. just to keep the peace. |
