I totally agree. If people required a specific breeders license and had to have all pets neutred and spayed otherwise...we wouldn't have the problem of abandoned animals like we do. Also mistreatment of animals would most likely decrease as they would be harder to obtain. Not to mention wildlife would flourish so much more without all the feral cats and dogs killing them off. Here in Australia, they are trying a program in an area where they are capturing feral animals, injecting them with some drug that renders the offspring infertile, then releasing them so as to stop the population growth without the necessity to destroy the innocent animal. I hope it works and they manage to promote this method in more areas.
