so check this out. My friend is going to be auctioned off to cook at some random person’s house at his high school that he graduated from to make money for that school. So I am going to help him out. The menu will consist of:
APPETIZER:
Shrimp and scallop kabobs (that are skewered with fresh rosemary sprigs) over top of a shitake risotto (which is like a very sticky, and runny type of rice, with balsamic glaze drizzled on the bottom of it all.
Sweet sausage ravioli with a sun dried tomato chili pesto, with veggie and potato ravioli baked in a cheddar cheese sauce topped with asaigo cheese and bread crumbs
lime and tequila sorbet inside of a lime instead of a shot glass(to cleanse the pallet)
SOUP:
a melon five-spice soup (which will be served cold)
SALAD:
a bitter green salad with grilled marinated duck, with a orange cilantro coulis, and a Asian pear ginger coulis
some sort of savory entremets (to cleanse the pallet)
ENTRÉE:
Sea bass en papillote with garlic butter, thyme, and oregano, and rice pilaf with orange, yellow, and red bell peppers in it with salmon crusted with meso
Beef Tournedos au poivre with a smoked salmon cream sauce (not proven yet though) with garlic asparagus and roasted red bliss potatoes
apple cinnamon sorbet inside of a apple instead of a shot glass
DESSERT:
triple chocolate creme brulee with a rasberry sauce
