| My oldest daughter spent the last year living with my aunt because of personal issues, but has moved back in with me. My aunt disciplines much differently than I do (more lax) but seemed to get better results, as my daughter graduated 8th grade on the honor roll, and was staying out of trouble. I'm torn as to whether or not I should try to conform to her methods, having to completely reset myself because of how I was raised, or just try to adjust my own methods as I go, and see if they work out. |
